Wildlife In Kanha

Kanha National Park’s allure stems from its incredible animal population. This wildlife was also featured in Rudyard Kipling’s “Jungle Book.” We’ve all heard of the famous Sherkhan from the book, who was inspired by seeing a Bengal Tiger. Other characters inspired by the park’s wildlife included Baloo the sloth bear, Kaa the snake, King Louie the orangutan, Akela the wolf, Raksha the wolf, Winifred the elephant, Rocky the rhino, and others.
