How to Reach Kanha National Park from Delhi
By Air
The fastest way to reach Kanha from Delhi is by air. You can take a direct flight from Delhi to Jabalpur (160 km), the nearest airport to the park. From Jabalpur, private cabs and taxis are easily available for the 4 – 5 hour drive to Kanha.
By Train
You can take a train from Delhi to Jabalpur or Gondia Junction (145 km). Both stations have good road links to Kanha. After reaching either station, you can hire a taxi or private cab to the park, which takes around 4 – 6 hours depending on the entry gate.
By Road
Kanha National Park is about 1,050 – 1,100 km from Delhi, and the drive takes around 18 – 20 hours. The most common route is via Gwalior – Jhansi – Sagar – Narsinghpur – Mandla – Kanha. The journey is long but scenic, passing through parts of Madhya Pradesh’s countryside and forest zones.
