How to Reach Bamni Dadar

Bamni Dadar lies about 8 km from Kanha’s main entry gate and is accessible only through a guided safari organized by the forest department. Visitors are required to book the safari in advance, as entry is restricted to protect the habitat.

The best time to visit Bamni Dadar is from November to March, when the weather is pleasant and visibility is clear. During monsoon, the area becomes even greener but may remain closed due to safety restrictions.
